Junior QA Technician
**A Snapshot of Your Day** Join our team as a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Technician at the Charlotte Siemens Energy Plant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards. You will conduct both in-process and final inspections, meticulously documenting your findings using Quality Control Instruction (QCI) and Quality Control Charts (QCC). Your attention to detail will help maintain compliance with specifications and standard operating procedures, while you gain valuable experience and certification in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) methods. Imagine being part of a team that drives innovation and sustainability in energy technology! **How You’ll Make an Impact** + You will collaborate with Level IItechnicians to learn Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) methods and worktowards your Level II certification. + You will become certified in VisualTesting (VT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Magnetic Testing (MT), ensuringyou meet the requirements to excel in your role. + You will validate QA/NDE paperworkfor accuracy and upload reports to SAP, ensuring all documentation isprecise and up-to-date. + You will conduct in-process andfinal inspection audits, presenting your results to management andcontributing to continuous improvement initiatives. + You will work closely withsupervisors, engineers, and operators to support manufacturingproductivity and efficiency. **What You Bring** + A High School Diploma or equivalent,along with completion of the Career Readiness Certification required bySiemens Energy. + You have completed classroomtraining in Magnetic Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT), withadditional training in Visual Testing (VT) and other NDE methods beingbeneficial. + You possess 1-2 years ofmanufacturing and/or quality experience, with proficiency in gauging toolsand techniques. + You are eager to learn and becomeproficient in SAP and OIL operating software systems. + You are legally authorized to workin the United States without the need for employer-sponsored workauthorization.
