Junior Project Manager
Job Title: Junior Project Manager Location: Onsite – Downtown Dallas, TX Start Date: Targeting late July to early August Duration: 12-month contract with potential for permanent hire or long term extensions Compensation: $25–$35/hour (based on experience) About the Role: We are seeking Junior Project Managers to join a high-impact team within a major enterprise security organization. This team is responsible for assessing thousands of internal applications from a risk and compliance perspective, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and overall security posture. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals with 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or IT support who are looking to grow within a structured and mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: + Support the assessment and compliance process for over 5,000 internal applications. + Engage directly with application owners and administrators to guide them through compliance tasks. + Track progress, follow up on incomplete items, and provide support to ensure applications meet internal security standards. + Assist in onboarding applications to Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms and enforcing MFA requirements. + Help differentiate between applications that can self-service and those needing technical support or professional services. + Maintain strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholder relationships. Preferred Qualifications: + 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, IT support, or process improvement. + Exposure to IT environments, especially in security, IAM, or compliance. + Familiarity with tools such as IBM ISVA, ISAM, or Entrust ID is a plus. + Strong interpersonal skills, drive, and a proactive mindset are essential. + PMP or other project management certifications are a bonus but not required. Ideal Candidate Profile: + Highly organized and detail oriented. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. + Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams. + Eager to learn and grow within a security-focused IT organization Interview Process: + Initial resume review and candidate presentation. + 15-minute video interview with hiring team for top candidates. + Final selection of candidates for onboarding.
