Job DescriptionAECOM’s Netherlands team includes around 110 professionals based in The Hague and several regional hubs. We deliver multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and program management services across the region, with collaboration and innovation at the core of how we work.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Shell’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects in The Netherlands. You will coordinate activities across design, construction, and implementation, ensuring projects progress effectively and meet Shell’s technical, operational, and safety expectations. Working closely with the Construction Manager, Shell’s EV team, and contractors, you will help guide decision-making, manage interfaces, and maintain alignment across multiple active sites.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate EV charging infrastructure projects for Shell across various locations.Manage project scope, planning, resourcing, and day-to-day coordination.Maintain schedules, budgets, reporting, and communication with Shell and internal teams.Facilitate key project meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders.Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and HSSE requirements.Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.Uphold AECOM’s and Shell’s HSSE and ethical standards throughout project delivery.QualificationsExperience managing construction or infrastructure projects, ideally within energy, utilities, or related technical sectors.Driver's license B.Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written).Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor management.Familiarity with electrical or civil works is an advantage, particularly related to infrastructure installations.Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities across several active sites.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive progress and resolve issues proactively.Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with HSSE standards.Relevant technical or engineering degree (or equivalent professional experience).Proficiency in project management tools and documentation practices.Ability to work independently, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to fast-moving project environments.Additional InformationWe offer:
