Junior Program Controller Chantilly, VA, USA Req #651 Wednesday, July 2, 2025 **Koniag IT Systems,** a Koniag Government Services company **,** is looking for a high performing candidate to fill a Junior Program Controller position supporting an Operating Group President. The Junior Program Controller will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of contracts with several T&M projects exceeding revenue of $50M/year, and several fixed price contracts with a total of over $80M/ year. This support includes tracking ceiling & funding down to the CLIN, separating Travel and Other Direct Costs, as well as, assisting the Operating Group President with his organization’s business and financial reporting. The Junior Program Controller will be responsible for invoicing, developing forecasting models, monthly closing, financial analysis, assisting with developing the annual budget, as well as other ad hoc tasks. This candidate must be able to work directly with the Lead Operating Group Program Controller, Operating Group Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Program Managers to provide subject matter expertise on financial analysis. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities, & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Maintain funds tracking for each task within complex T&M and Cost-Plus contracts, to include funds burn rate and ceiling of travel, ODCs, and labor by task. + Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and burn-rate analysis for multiple, multi-million-dollar contracts. + Coordinate with corporate Accounts Receivable group to assemble invoices for T&M and Cost-Plus contracts. + Assist Program Managers with invoice reviews and recommendations. + Trouble shoot invoicing and other financial issues with corporate accounting. + Assist the Operating Group with financial tracking across the Group’s portfolio of contracts. + Assist with Operating Group month-end close process and with financial revenue predictions. + Ability to collaborate across the corporate structure to provide solutions to issues as needed. + Attend regular team meetings and assist with necessary administrative tasks. + Produce financial tracking and analysis across the Operating Group’s portfolio of contracts. + Produce complex financial reports and metrics for Government customers. **Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other related) + 2+ years related experience + Must be **EXCEPTIONALLY** skilled with MS Excel (advanced formulas, ability to decipher complex workbooks, etc.), proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications. + Ability to provide solutions to accounting problems + Must be very detail oriented + Experience in accounting/financial management of multitask, cost plus or time & Materials contracts. + Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage. + Must be a self-starter that can recognize needs and act with little to no guidance. + Able to rapidly understand and apply new concepts. + Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. + Continually looks for opportunities to maximize efficiency and is willing to learn. + Utilizes resources to find solutions for given situations. + Must be adaptable and a quick learner **Desired Skills** + Experience with program management is highly desirable. + Experience with multi-million-dollar contracts. **Security Pre-Requisite:** To be considered, must be able to obtain and maintain a **SECRET** security clearance. **Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
