Grow here.** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated **Junior Primary Electrical Engineer** with around 1 year of substation or electrical design experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their engineering career who is eager to develop technical skills in **High Voltage substation design and 3D modeling using Revit.** You will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams on international projects involving High Voltage substations, Medium Voltage systems, and power infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience and structured technical guidance. This is a great opportunity to grow within an international engineering environment and build strong foundations in substation design and BIM-based engineering. **Job Profile Summary** + Support the design and development of High Voltage Substations (up to 500kV) under the guidance of senior engineers. + Perform 3D modeling in Revit for primary substation layouts, equipment, and electrical systems following project and BIM standards. + Assist in producing engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. + Support preparation of technical deliverables such as: + Single Line Diagrams (SLD) + Equipment layouts and sections, + Cable routing and basic sizing, + Earthing and Lightning layouts, + Basic primary design drawings. + Coordinate with Civil, Structural, BIM, and Electrical teams to ensure models and drawings are aligned. + Update drawings and models based on engineering comments and project revisions. + Follow company standards, engineering guidelines, and applicable industry codes (IEC / IEEE / ANSI). + Learn and develop knowledge of HV/MV substation equipment, layouts, and engineering practices. + Support senior engineers in technical and project-related tasks. **Qualifications** **Mandatory Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Power Engineering + Around 1 year of experience in High Voltage Substations field + Basic working experience in Autodesk Revit (mandatory). + Basic knowledge of AutoCAD. + Willingness to learn substation primary design and BIM workflows. + Good English communication skills. **Nice to Have** + Exposure to substations or power systems. + Understanding of HV/MV equipment and layouts. + Familiarity with BIM coordination concepts. + Knowledge of MicroStation, ETAP, or Advanced level of Revit is a plus. + Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. + Team-oriented mindset and proactive attitude. **Additional Information** **At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity** _Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business – supporting a culture of flexibility, trust and performance at AECOM._ \#LI-IP1 **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
