Are you passionate about automation, AI-driven operations, and building the future of enterprise observability? Join a dynamic CGI team that is modernizing how clients monitor, manage, and optimize their IT environments. As an AIOps Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge platforms such as BMC Helix Operations Management, Service Monitoring, AIOps, Discovery and Dynatrace, helping clients unlock actionable insights and reduce operational noise through intelligent automation.
This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced industry leaders, contribute to innovative monitoring and AIOps initiatives, and grow your skills in cloud, scripting, APIs, and infrastructure automation. You'll collaborate with senior engineers, present solutions to clients, explore new features and capabilities, and help shape the next generation of Observability & AIOps services at CGI. If you are curious, creative, and excited to apply modern engineering practices within enterprise environments, this is the place to start your journey.
As a Junior–Intermediate AIOps Engineer, you will support the evolution of CGI's Observability & AIOps services. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, technical leads, and clients to help drive automation, intelligent monitoring, and operational insights. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of AIOps and Observability platforms (BHOM, Helix Service Monitoring, AIOps, Discovery and Dynatrace).
Developing scripts, APIs, and integrations to enhance monitoring, data ingestion, automation workflows, and event noise reduction.
Participating in the creation of service models, monitoring policies, anomaly detection baselines, and event correlation logic.
Assisting in identifying monitoring gaps, proposing improvements, and recommending new features or capabilities clients should adopt.
Building dashboards, visualizations, and insights that help clients better understand their environment.
Supporting intelligent automation initiatives (self-healing, auto-remediation, enrichment logic, automated CMDB updates).
Preparing and delivering client-facing demos, walkthroughs, and operational presentations.
Participating in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and data investigations to improve observability health.
Collaborating in Agile ceremonies, standups, planning sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documenting solutions, runbooks, observability standards, and operational procedures.
Staying current with AIOps, monitoring, and automation best practices; researching and presenting innovative ideas to the team.
