Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer with foundational knowledge in network design and operations. The ideal candidate will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, with a focus on packet core technologies, 5G architecture, and Nokia gateways. This role is ideal for someone with a CCNA certification and a passion for learning advanced telecom technologies. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and configuration of routers and network topologies. Support the deployment and troubleshooting of packet core networks, including EPC and 5G core components. Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate and maintain Nokia gateways (e.g., MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF). Monitor network performance and assist in resolving connectivity issues. Document network configurations, changes, and procedures. Participate in testing and validation of network upgrades and new features. Stay updated on emerging technologies in 5G, IP networking, and telecom infrastructure. Skills and Requirements CCNA certification (required). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Basic understanding of IP networking, routing protocols, and network design principles. Exposure to packet core technologies and 5G architecture is a plus. Familiarity with Nokia network equipment is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Hands-on experience with network simulators or lab environments. Knowledge of LTE/5G protocols and architecture.
