As Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of R&D team. You will be involved in the mechanical customization and validation of high voltage disconnectors, with main focus (but not limited) to the 3D design and drawing issue (support frame and all mechnical kinematic chain etc), FEM and dynamic modal analysis. The design and sizing will be done according to technical specifications and relevant international standards. You will also support senior engineers in in the daily management of technical activities with a strong collaboratioon with R&D.

Job Description

As Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of Customization enegineering team. You will be involved in the mechanical customization of high voltage disconnectors, with main focus (but not limited) to the 3D design and drawing issue (support frame and all mechnical kinematic chain etc). The design and sizing will be done according to technical specifications and relevant international standards. You will also  support senior engineers in in the daily management of technical activities with a strong collaboratioon with R&D.

In details you will be involved in :

Drawing issue (CAD and 3D output/models)Mechanical validation of  various components (calculations and FEM analysis, dynamic modal analysis)Investigation in alternative material or different manufacturing technologiesRedesign of on noncritical parts with competence center approvalProduct customization for framework and ordersCost analysis and manufacturing optimization proposalsFactory accptance test and type tests witnessing (in the internal accredited lab but also external worldwide lab)Support in the resolutions of Non conformity and Risk and FMEA analysis etcIssue of technical document for internal or external use (sesimic qualification reports, mechanical static validations)

Educational Requirements

Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical engineering.

In alternative Mechanical expert with few years experineces.

Experience and Knowledge

New graduate or Technician with few years of Experience in the field of mechanical engineering or R&D dept.
