Join Our BeLux Legal Team as a (Junior) Legal Counsel!

About Your Tasks:

Your main focus will be on contract management and project execution. You will collaborate with a great variety of stakeholders (both internally and externally) to draft and negotiate these contracts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and review legal templates and all kind of legal documents and digging into specific legal topics under Belgian law. Support business of Siemens NV/SA in preparation of offers and change / opportunity management during the execution of projects. Analyse, localize and negotiate Global Agreements negotiated on HQ level for implementation in Belgium and Luxemburg. Follow-up on regulatory changes in Belgium and Luxemburg related to digital business and cloud services. Support regarding administrative legal work for corporate topics. Assistance in initiatives of implementing legal tools for digitalization of legal work. Collaborate with various departments as well as internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives.  

Qualifications:

Belgian Law degree from an accredited law school. Preferably first professional experience in a law firm or as an inhouse lawyer. Knowledge in Belgian commercial and corporate law or the willingness to familiarise yourself quickly. Language requirements (both written and oral): French or Dutch fluent (with a good knowledge of the other language) and English Great interest and affinity with digital processes and artificial intelligence which support work in legal departments. You describe yourself as a curious, openminded colleague who dares to ask tough questions. Motivated, proactive, pragmatic, hands-on and positive person: you like to collaborate with international colleagues and bring a certain cultural sensitivity.
