If you're 1–2 years out of college and have spent time working hands-on with container orchestration, cloud-native tech, or automation—this is your launchpad. You'll join a team that values learning, mentorship, and building scalable systems together. **Responsibilities include:** + Develop and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker + Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives + Contribute to team code reviews, testing, and debugging activities + Support performance monitoring and observability practices + Participate in agile ceremonies and team planning sessions + Communicate clearly across engineering and cross-functional teams + Document architecture, workflows, and operational processes ​ **Required Qualifications** + Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 or more years related experience. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 4 years of Software Engineering experience will be considered + Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a professional setting + Experience working in at least one language: Go, Python, or TypeScript + Familiarity with Docker and container fundamentals + Version control experience with Git and common workflows + Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies + Exposure to HTML/CSS or frontend basics + **Clearance Required:** **Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.** **Desired Qualifications** + Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools + Basic understanding of GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD, Helm + Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability platforms + Awareness of distributed system concepts or cloud platforms like Rancher, Harvester + Comfort reading or contributing to open-source codebases + Experience with log aggregation or monitoring setups + Academic or personal projects showcasing cloud-native architecture skills **At Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
