Junior IT PM
Job Description Job Summary The Junior IT Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects under the guidance of senior project managers or PMO leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities Support end‑to‑end execution of IT projects, including applications, infrastructure, and systems initiatives Assist with project planning, scheduling, and task coordination Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; escalate when necessary Prepare and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and meeting summaries Coordinate meetings, maintain action items, and ensure follow‑through Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, business partners, and vendors Support change management, requirements tracking, and documentation efforts Assist with budget tracking, purchase requests, and invoice coordination as needed Ensure project activities align with IT governance, security, and compliance standards Compensation: $35/hr to $40/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or IT support roles Basic understanding of IT systems, applications, or infrastructure Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Strong organizational and time‑management skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience working in an enterprise or PMO‑driven environment Exposure to SDLC, Agile ceremonies, or change management processes Experience using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana) CAPM, PMP (in progress), or Agile certification a plus
