About Parameta

Parameta Solutions, the data and analytics division of inter-broker dealer TP ICAP, is a leading global provider of OTC Market Data. From pre to post trade, their solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively.

In May 2022, the firm became an FCA authorized benchmark administrator. This license has allowed the company to take on administration of the nine TP ICAP interest rate swaps benchmarks that were previously administered by Moorgate Benchmarks.

Role Overview

This role sits within Parameta Solutions, the data and analytics division of TP ICAP, and is focused on developing, enhancing, and commercializing market data products and analytical services. The position combines quantitative analysis, product development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients across the

financial markets.

The successful candidate will apply advanced analytical techniques to financial datasets, design new data products, and support the full product lifecycle—from concept and modeling through technical implementation, reporting, and commercialization. They will work closely with senior quant developers, technology teams, sales, and external stakeholders (including data vendors and buy-side/banking clients) to ensure products align with market standards, regulatory requirements, and client demand.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong quantitative skills, technical proficiency, and financial market knowledge. The position also offers the opportunity to shape product strategy, contribute to global go-to-market efforts, and play a key role in driving innovation and operational improvements across Parameta Solutions’ Data & Analytics business.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop an understanding of existing TP ICAP Data & Analytics processes and the under pinning modelling and assumptions

Analyse new data products and including quantitative techniques required to price new datasets

Develop ability to support and enhance processes technically. Develop models utilising internal applications (etc Tailor/Axiom) and external software/applications (e.g. excel)

Design both automated and ad-hoc end of day reports that can be commercialised using systems such as Alteryx,

Apply analytics to historical data in order to create new derived data sets or services which can be sold to new and existing TP ICAP Data & Analytics clients

Create macros in Excel to streamline procedures done by our product teams

Work with TP ICAP Analytics to create datasets or services utilising internal systems including but not limited to price discovery, trade, settlement and surveillance systems

Become a lead developer for new content and analytical services working alongside TPIDA senior quant developers and Technology developers and group Analytics staff

Work with third parties to review potential to partner or acquire quantitative or analytical capabilities in support of existing or new client services

Gain an end to end understanding of TP ICAP broker workflow and continually maintain/update knowledge in order to identify new data products/services that TP ICAP Data & Analytics can offer clients

Conduct regular data/system audits of TP ICAP brokerage desks. Maintain a database of audit results. Work alongside Senior Product Managers and Product Implementation group to bring new products to market.

Work with Market Analysis group to develop Product strategy in order to drive delivery and revenue generation

Liaise with sales and end users to define product requirements, and support the sales process, including:

Data Vendors (Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, ICE, IHS Markit etc.)

Banking / Buy- side customers (Front/Middle/Back Office, Risk, Compliance etc. etc.)

Other end users

Provide expertise in OTC derivative standards, best practices and market developments across asset classes (FX, Rates, Energy, Options…) and geographies.

Maintain good knowledge of current market developments, including regulations.

Implement improvements to, and maintain existing products on Data & Analytics databases, including:

Product specifications

Technical requirements for developers

End to end product deployment

Customer publications

Data presentation on third party platforms

Implementation of Product go to market strategy

Involvement in regional/global marketing activities, including:

D&A new product newsletter (periodic basis)

Feedback in to product based marketing collateral (website, inventory…)

Drive process and operational improvements both locally and throughout Data & Analytics.

Experience/Competences

Essential

Strong quantitative and analytical skills — ability to apply statistical/quantitative techniques to financial datasets and create derived data products.

Technical proficiency — advanced Excel (including VBA/macros), plus experience with tools such as Alteryx or similar data automation/reporting platforms.

Financial market knowledge — understanding of OTC markets (e.g., FX, Rates, Energy, Options) and derivative standards, with ability to keep current on regulations and market developments.

Product development and process management — ability to support product lifecycle from audit and design through deployment, reporting, and commercialization.

Cross-functional collaboration skills — proven ability to liaise with internal teams (quant, technology, sales) and external stakeholders (vendors, buy side, banks).

Desired

Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL to enhance modeling and data product development.

Knowledge of benchmark administration or regulatory frameworks (FCA/ESMA standards, market compliance).

Experience working with data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, IHS Markit, etc.) and integration of market data feeds.

Product strategy and commercialization skills — ability to identify revenue opportunities, contribute to go-to-market planning, and support sales collateral.

Operational/process improvement experience — track record of streamlining workflows and driving efficiency in data/analytics environments.
