The Financial Due Diligence (Transactions Dilligence) department provides critical analysis and insights for clients involved in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on the quality of earnings, cash flows, and financial risks associated with target companies. By leveraging industry expertise and advanced analytics, the TD team collaborates with other EY departments to deliver comprehensive assessments that help clients make informed transaction decisions.

Your role will involve gathering and organizing financial data, assisting in the preparation of detailed reports, and collaborating with senior team members to deliver insights that inform client decision-making during mergers and acquisitions.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Assist in conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, including analyzing financial statements, identifying key financial trends, and assessing the financial health of target companies Support senior team members in preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for clients Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness Summarizing the outcomes of client meetings and asking questions for clarification as needed You will be using Excel extensively in your work, including common functions such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, filters, pivot tables, and conditional formatting Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
