Junior Financial Analyst
Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst Job Description The Junior Financial Analyst will support the client-facing team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality and timely support and servicing to institutional clients. This role will involve working closely with internal teams to coordinate the preparation of client financial reporting, updates on strategic initiatives, and other key client deliverables across a wide range of investment strategies and end-to-end solutions. Responsibilities + Work directly with experienced associates, senior relationship managers, and directors to support best-in-class client financial reporting, servicing, and support to institutional clients. + Manage a client schedule of monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables. + Collaborate with teams to coordinate and produce accurate and timely reporting as well as other client financial reporting deliverables. + Develop high-quality presentation materials for client or internal meetings through partnering and coordinating with finance and operations specialists. + Develop and maintain a solid understanding of a range of investment, risk, financial, and operational offerings and solutions. + Gather and coordinate data and related information to quickly respond to client information requests or reporting and audit requirements. + Support the CRM team in preparing for client meetings, assisting with internal action items and related follow-ups. + Assist in year-end audit support. + Collaborate within the Client Relationship Management team to establish long-standing trusted advisor partnerships with institutional clients through the CRM framework. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, and Financial Analysis. + A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. + 1-2 years of previous experience working within the accounting and finance for investment industry or other relevant field. + Strong background and advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint. + Experience with financial modeling, Excel analysis, and financial reporting. + External audit experience is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Forecasting, financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and monthly financial report experience. + External audit experience is preferred. Work Environment This role operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence three days a week, specifically Tuesday through Thursday, under a 4-month contract. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
