Junior Financial Accountant - Flex Process
Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team, focusing on the Record to Report Flex Process. The role is primarily responsible for the review, analysis, and validation of Flex contracts, understanding their stipulations and assumptions, and ensuring accurate accounting treatment. This role will require a strong audit mindset, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach in identifying and resolving discrepancies.

What you will do

Review and analyze Flex contracts to understand key terms, assumptions, obligations, and stipulations

Perform in-depth analysis of how Flex deals were structured and processed operationally and financiallyVerify accounting records against contract terms and ensure alignment with relevant accounting principles and company policiesApply audit-level scrutiny to identify inconsistencies, misinterpretations, or processing errors;  support the investigations and identification of necessary accounting correctionsPrepare and support accounting adjustments and correction entries where neededCollaborate cross-functionally with project teams, finance, operations, and legal to resolve issues, clarify contract interpretations, and support decision-makingMaintain and track open items and follow up to ensure timely resolutionDevelop and maintain reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and audit readinessAssist in improving contract review and accounting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and complianceEnsure documentation and audit trails are complete and well-organized for internal and external auditsSupport in the execution of controls (SOX) for Flex processSupport the preparation of flex balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policiesSupport internal and external audits by providing robust documentation and analysis related to Flex contracts and related accounting treatment

What you need

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 1 year of accounting or audit experience (internships included)Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial processesAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with Power BI is a strong advantageFluent spoken and written English

Team player with excellent collaboration and follow-up skillsERP Experience in Oracle and SAPA meticulous eye for detail and a structured, methodical approach, investigative mindset with strong follow-through
