Job Description
As a Junior Estimator, you will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals. You'll collaborate closely with project managers and senior estimators to gather pricing data, evaluate subcontractor bids, and ensure competitive and comprehensive bid submissions. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in construction software, and a foundational understanding of construction methods and materials. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare cost estimates for commercial construction projects.Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators to gather pricing data.Evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive and comprehensive bid submissions.Utilize construction software to assist in accurate estimation processes.Maintain strong attention to detail throughout all stages of estimation.Assist in managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously.Essential SkillsEstimation experience in construction.Proficiency in construction estimating software.Understanding of commercial construction methods and materials.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of construction estimating experience at a General Contractor, particularly in interior renovation.Experience reviewing RFPs and drawings.Knowledge of construction documents and permitting processes.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
