We’re looking for a passionate and driven Graduate (masters or undergrad) DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic telco core and cloud engineering team. You will be part of exciting 4G/5G deployment projects, working on cloud-native environments, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery:

Participate in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining containerized applications and services within national mobile operator networks.Design, build and administer OpenStack and OpenShift lab infrastructure to support all Samsung Networks teams.Develop scripts and tools to automate frequent tasks and monitor key resources.Support the automation and CICD pipelines of telco network function deployments (4G/5G Core) on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring minimal downtime.

Innovation:

Innovate and proactively contribute to the devops community with their ideas and improvements.Learn and contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives (e.g., using Terraform, Ansible).

Team:

Individual contributions to the team are emphasized and requested.Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues.Customer interface for complex technical issues, new requests, features and software problems and manage internal communication with the local team and HQ R&D team.

Agile:

Maintain clear and updated documentation of systems, pipelines, and procedures.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to planning and delivery cycles.Participate in regular project review meeting with customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

Education:

Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge:

Basic understanding of DevOps principles and SDLC.Basic knowledge of cloud-native platforms like OpenShift. Exposure to containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Familiarity with Linux environments and basic shell scripting.

Experience:

Some experience or academic exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab).Willingness to learn telco-specific technologies and protocols (e.g., EPC, 5GC).A collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
