Junior End User Support Technician

What You’ll Do:

Provide on-site and remote IT support for North America corporate end-user computers and peripherals. This includes receiving, imaging, configuring, operating system software installations/upgrades, and break/fix for workstations, laptops, rugged RF devices, phones, printers, and conference room equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve computer problems and errors. Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.Support corporate client-based software such as O365 Office Suite, iSeries, Microstrategy, Adobe suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), 3rd Party software, Cisco VPN, etc.Provide conference room support for hardware and software.Coordinate with vendors for computer and company printer repairs.Deploy mobile equipment (iPhones/iPads) to various organizational groups.Resolve escalations from the IT Service Desk and take ownership of issues to ensure closure. Utilize the ticketing system to manage the second-level incident queue.Provide logistical support for loss, damage, and termination of corporate equipment.Coordinate with HR to distribute equipment for new hires and collect equipment at the end of employment.Provide after-hours support as needed to ensure device/system availability.

We’d Love to See:

Ability to multi-task and deliver on assigned action items and deadlines.Collaborate with Technology team to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.Ability to research PC hardware and software issues and coordinate with the IT team to resolve issues as required.Strong interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with internal and external clients.Strong oral and written skills with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas.

You’ll Need to Have:

1-2 years of experience working in a decentralized environment providing corporate-wide end-user support for Apple and Windows laptops/PCs.Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.Working knowledge of IT support incident management systems, with ServiceNow preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including working with remote management/team members.Strong customer service skills, including oral communication and technical writing skills.Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless) as it pertains to desktop/laptop support.  Basic knowledge of routers, switches, access points, firewalls, cabling, servers, and storage in a large network environment is helpful.

$65,000.00-$75,000.00
