Junior Data Scientist

Support developing & maintaining already implemented solutions. Learn & gain experience working together with more senior colleagues on the specific projects on local, international, and regional initiatives, focusing on data science application within Forecasting and Demand Planning related areas.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Take ownership of maintaining and optimizing existing EU-wide forecasting solutions, ensuring they continue to deliver value for the business.
+ Experiment with new approaches to data utilization - create powerful visualizations, design custom data flows, and develop statistical or machine learning models that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
+ Support the development of methodology within big scale transformational projects.
+ Effectively communicate and present findings to diverse audiences, including stakeholders and senior management, ensuring clarity for non-technical groups.
+ Support the continuous improvement of Ways of Working of the Data Science Hub - based on internal and external examples of best practice, feedback from the project stakeholders.
**Expectations towards employee:**
+ **Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a data science or analytics role, with demonstrated ability to apply statistical methods (preferably time series forecasting) to solve real-world business problems**
+ **Fluent Polish & English**
+ Ability to write Python and SQL code independently. Knowledge of version control tools such as Git. Elementary understanding of basic ML Ops concepts. Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus.
+ Solid understanding and practical experience with statistical techniques and concepts such as statistical tests, regression analysis, feature selection, and time series modeling.
+ Hands-on experience with machine learning methods, including clustering, decision trees, boosting, and a clear understanding of their respective strengths and limitations.
+ Ability to introduce and implement new analytical and statistical tools and methodologies tailored to project requirements.
+ Good communication and presentation skills, with the capability to explain complex topics in a clear and accessible way to diverse audiences.
+ Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various organizational levels.
