Wood is currently looking for a Junior Construction Engineer to support Mechanical & Piping (M&P) and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) construction activities.

Interfacing with engineering and commission personnel to review strategy, design and design deliverables and provide constructability and operability input into the design/construction work-packs. Development and compilation of construction work packs ensuring the inclusion of all necessary deliverables, specifications, safety documentation, job cards, philosophies, strategies, method statements, procedures and other supporting documentation sufficient to allow the safe and efficient execution of the works. Provide Construction technical support when required to the engineering design team. Provide assistance to the resolution of construction technical queries and open punch list items to ensure timely close out to the satisfaction of the construction team. Assist in the preparation of man-hour estimates and installation job cards for all construction and commissioning work-packs. Liaison with fabricators, sub-contractors and others on matters concerning construction work-pack activity. The WPE will work closely with the Engineering and Project Control Functions.
