In the role of Junior Buyer, we'll count on you to:

Effectively and professionally conduct activities associated with primarily procuring materials and equipmentKnow and understand basic procurement concepts, principles and practices, and basic techniques of ensuring task completion, project delivery processes, and supplier relationship expectationsLearn and understand role of procurement, procurement's role in project delivery process, the value-added expectations, and perform assignments in accordance with established policies and proceduresKnow and understand basic concepts, principles, theories, and compliance requirements applicable to assigned group, subject area or commodityPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other applicable major; previous procurement experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. However, for some posted positions, a degree may be required to meet client or owning group requirementsPrevious experience in procurement or other procurement roleGood analytical skills. Good organization skillsRequired Qualifications
