This finalized Job Description integrates the **Billing & Revenue** role into the Iron Mountain (IRM) Global Financial Services framework. This role is a critical link between operational activity and financial accuracy, focusing on the "Agreement-to-Cash" (A2C) lifecycle within a centralized billing environment. **Job Summary** Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented **Billing & Revenue** to join our centralized billing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate, efficient invoicing and maintaining data integrity for rates and revenue across our corporate databases, including **Oracle, Secure Base, and SKP** . This position is ideal for a financial professional who thrives on "detective work"—establishing controls, auditing techniques, and identifying automation opportunities to prevent revenue leakage. You will manage monthly billing projects, support complex billing conversions, and provide high-quality data to ensure that contract terms are translated accurately into customer invoices. **What You’ll Do** **Revenue Assurance & Auditing** + **Data Integrity:** Maintain and audit rates and revenue data within Oracle and SKP to ensure billing accuracy and consistency across field locations. + **Issue Resolution:** Research and analyze complex billing discrepancies, providing daily support to internal and external customers to resolve inquiries. + **Revenue Protection:** Analyze billing data to ensure no revenue impact during contract translations and assist with post-conversion cleanup and remediation. **Month-End & System Management** + **Closing Oversight:** Manage the billing month-end closing process, assessing revenue trends for specific field locations and districts. + **Systems Liaison:** Partner with IT Support to resolve system discrepancies and develop systemic enhancements to gain operational efficiencies. + **Standardization:** Enforce company-wide billing standardization objectives while maintaining deep product-line knowledge to ensure requirements are met. **Operational Support** + **Reporting:** Prepare management reports regarding billing performance, revenue trends, and mission-critical deadlines. + **Continuous Improvement:** Actively participate in activities aimed at automating manual billing processes and improving the speed of the invoicing cycle. **What You’ll Bring** + **Education:** B.Com, M.Com, or MBA graduate. + **Experience:** 6 months to 1.5 years of professional experience in **Order-to-Cash (O2C)** billing or a centralized financial environment. + **Technical Skills:** * Strong keyboarding and data entry skills with high accuracy. + Proficiency in global ERP systems (e.g., **Oracle** ) and specialized databases. + Advanced system navigation skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical discrepancies. + **Soft Skills:** Exceptional problem-solving abilities, sound reading comprehension for complex emails, and the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients. + **Work Style:** A reliable, detail-oriented multitasker who is flexible to change and committed to meeting strict monthly deadlines.
