Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Architectural Designer to join our team! In this role you will play a vital part in delivering our architectural designs for many and varied projects for both Private and Public sector clients, across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in UAE design codes and regulations, particularly within the frameworks established by local ministries and government authorities such as DM, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, FEWA, and other municipal offices. As a Junior Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and project managers to assist in the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You should be proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting senior architects in developing architectural designs and plans.

Preparing detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D models using architectural software.

Participate in site visits and client meetings to gather project requirements.

Preparation and submission of drawings to local authorities to get building permit complying with regulations

Support the preparation of project presentations and documentation.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Maintain organized project files and documentation

Guarantee that all architectural designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, with excellent knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, design codes.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams, ensuring seamless integration of design intent with technical specifications and practical implementation on-site.

Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and Revit software to enhance design accuracy and coordination among project stakeholders.

Coordination of all sub-consultant packages and other disciplines within the organization

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of architectural experience, within a reputable architectural firm in the UAE.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit,  ACC or similar applications and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) practices.  

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Stakeholders & Authorities: experience in preparing submission packages for NOC from authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA and RTA is highly desirable.
