Job Description:

Junior Architect

Abu Dhabi, UAE

What You'll Be Doing:

Assist in the development of architectural concepts, detailed design drawings, and presentation materials.

Prepare planning packages and manage the Planning NOC process in coordination with relevant authorities.

Coordinate with internal departments—including Master Planning, Design, and Infrastructure—to ensure project alignment and timely approvals.

Answer customer Requests for Information (RFIs) and support communication with sub-developers and external stakeholders.

Attend kick-off meetings, site visits, and other coordination meetings to align design intent and execution.

Prepare monthly design progress reports, tracking design status, approvals, and deliverables.

Support and track Design Change Requests (DCRs) and manage the modification process through DMT (Design Management Tool or equivalent platform).

Work closely with consultants, engineers, and contractors to support design coordination throughout project phases.

Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for permitting, construction, and compliance with local regulations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in an architectural, planning, or developer-side environment.

Must be familiar with planning and NOC process for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Familiarity with real estate development processes, especially coordination with authorities and stakeholders.

Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and permit processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage cross-functional coordination.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing design changes, reports, and stakeholder input.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple concurrent projects.
