Decide is seeking an eager-to-learn Junior Analyst for our Financial Operations team! In this role, you will support the organization’s critical back office operations. You will regularly contribute to the ongoing priorities of the Financial Operations team, including bookkeeping and general accounting activities. You will also occasionally support other administrative tasks to ensure the business maintains optimal operations.
This is an opportunity for an early-career accountant or financial analyst to develop skills in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. This role will report to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day operations and requests related to accounts payable and accounts receivable Monitor transactions and support troubleshooting as needed Support reconciliation of company accounts Assist in the preparation and filing of financial documents Prepare and record assigned month-end journal entries Assist with end of month closing processes Prepare various financial reports and analytics in a complete and timely manner Ensure that accounting records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) Occasionally support non-finance administrative tasks, such as monitoring email ticketing systems Complete ad hoc duties to ensure smooth operations of the organizationSkills and experience:
