What you will do in this role 

As an Junior AML Analyst with Italian & English -Bucharest, on-site   on our team, you will:  

Performs initial checks on transactions and customers according to predefined scenarios.  Runs basic checks in screening systems (sanctions, PEP, negative news).  Marks obviously alerts as false positives and closes them according to procedures.  Promptly escalate cases requiring further analysis when necessary     Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entered AML/KYC systems.  Provide administrative support to the team (documentation, collection of standard information). 

 

 

 

Your qualifications

Have advanced level of Italian and medium level of English (B2) Are proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly in tasks like data entry and basic table organization, is a must, alongside familiarity with standard office software. Have bachelor/ master's degrees in Law, Banking, Economics, Finance, Criminal Justice or any other related degree is a plus but not mandatory  Have any relevant financial or related sector experience is nice to have  Have a problem-solving attitude, solution-oriented Are an enthusiastic approach to learning AML - specific skills through on-the-job training is highly valued, with no prior compliance certifications required.
