Wagners have a career opportunity for a motivated career minded team player to join our Finance Team as a Junior Accountant. Located in Toowoomba this role will assist with monthly accounting and reporting duties. 

Duties

Maintain fixed asset work in progress reconciliation and fixed asset registersProvide support with preparation of month-end and year-end processesProvide support with budget preparation, monthly forecasts and financial statementsReview of general ledger reconciliationsProvide reports and ad hoc analysis for managementParticipate in procedure documentation and maintenanceVarious project and system tasks as required

 

Skills and Experience

Accounting degree or other relevant degreeKnowledge and understanding of accounting principlesUnderstanding of accounting standardsExcellent communication and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail
