We are making every move count We at Kalmar are seeking a talentedJunior Accountantto deliver RTR services in line with customers’ needs and expectations. The position requires working from the office for the first 6 months. Main tasks and responsibilities + Responsible for supporting accounting services for selected processes and countries, including accounting for and coordinating the month-end general ledger close, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. + Provide support for roles in the area of Record-to-Report. + Responsible for financial reporting operational activities. + Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner. + Follow internal control procedures and all accounting policies in accordance with CAS and the internal control framework. + Deliver error-free processes. + Build supportive relationships with peers and colleagues. + The role has controlling and reporting responsibilities over all processes in the end-to-end accounting: OTC, ITP, HR activities, and how they are reflected and accounted for in the books. + The role executes ongoing control over the accounting activities in the respective ledger for which it is responsible. What you’ll need to succeed + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics + 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance operations + Experience handling simple queries + Good MS Office skills and ERP knowledge + Strong team player + Problem-solving attitude + Ability to demonstrate analytical skills + Good interpersonal and communication skills + Proactive in taking initiative to improve personal and team work practices + Proficiency in written and spoken English You will be part of We offer you the opportunity to apply your skills and experience and make an impact in our global organisation and the cargo handling industry.
