ERM ANZ is currently recruiting for a full time Junior Accountant to join our Finance Team based in Kuala Lumpur.

ROLE PROFILE:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and be responsible for a variety of duties across the financial accounting function.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Timely and accurate monthly closing i.e. ensures all authorised journals are processed and appropriate accruals are made. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure all Group & ANZ financial reporting deadlines are metEnsure timely completion of monthly general ledger reconciliationEnsure timely completion of weekly and monthly bank reconciliationsMaintenance of direct debitsEnsure accurate maintenance of suppliers’ bank accounts set up and updatesAssist in the annual auditAssist in the preparation of taxation obligationsAssist in regional and group reporting as required 

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years accounting experience as accounts officerDegree qualification or close to finishing accounting degreeHigh attention to detail and accurate data entryStrong and effective communication skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work as part of a team and independently
