Job Title: Jr. HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Toronto Pearson Airport
Structure: Full-time, On-Site, Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm

ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking a Junior HVAC Maintenance Mechanic located in Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport to maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment within the Airport and grounds to achieve optimum life span of equipment.

Responsibilities:

Work shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following:

General maintenance of HVAC related equipment, maintenance to include but not limited to belts changes and filter changes, minor adjustments, and inspections.Equipment inspectionsAssisting HVAC mechanics, escorting contractors.Assist other classifications as requiredPerform light duties such as sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal.Installation of safety barricadesAll other maintenance duties as assigned

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Good oral and written communication skillsTeam Player with excellent interpersonal skills

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 diplomaMust possess a clear drivers abstractBasic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office
