We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician, gaining hands-on experience while ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.Support troubleshooting of electrical issues and perform basic repairs under guidance.Read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools.Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.Skills:Problem-solving and analytical thinking.Effective communication and teamwork.Time management and organizational skills.Work Environment:Indoor and outdoor job sites.May require lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Clark, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
