Job Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Junior Infrastructure Engineer in Troy, Ohio to help with the management and enhancement of our IT infrastructure team

Responsibilities include providing level 1 & 2 support and troubleshooting.  Helping in managing system configurations, installations, troubleshooting system errors, and ensuring a robust and reliable infrastructure

Ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of computer systems, end-user support, network administration, Microsoft tenants, and maintaining hardware and software.

This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in the infrastructure area while gaining hands-on experience with evolving technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, setup, and maintenance of hardware and software systemsMonitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring they operate efficientlyAnalysis, diagnosis and remediation of semi-complex technical issues with hardware and software issuesEnhancement of security processes through access controls, backups, and firewallsUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsHelp develop, document and maintain installation and configuration proceduresCollaborate with staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processesWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureWork with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldProblem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkersProven experience as an IT professional, or relevant roleFamiliarity with various Windows operating systems and platformsWorking knowledge of system security practices and data backup/recovery processesExperience interacting with and supporting cloud services and scripting toolsDesire and interest to develop a career in the manufacturing industryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMotivated, dependable, and responsible team player

Compensation Information:

The specific pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications.

Pay rate $79,200 - $97,500
