Description We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic team in Chino, California. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to expand their expertise in accounting within the wholesale distribution industry. The position offers a hybrid schedule, combining onsite work with remote flexibility. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records. • Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and discrepancies are resolved promptly. • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. • Collaborate with team members to support the general ledger process, including account analysis and adjustments. • Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for compliance and reporting purposes. • Support other accounting tasks as needed to meet departmental goals Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 1 year of experience in general ledger accounting within a private industry setting. • Proficiency in journal entries and account reconciliation processes. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and addressing audit inquiries. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred.
