As a Securities Based Lending Analyst within the Securities Based Lending Team at JPMorgan Chase, you will underwrite lines of credit secured by marketable securities, assist with loan portfolio maintenance, and support client credit needs. You will analyze client data across multiple systems for credit criteria and review/prepare loan documentation with high accuracy.

 

Job Responsibilities

Prepare analysis for underwriting, including collateral evaluation and loan gradingGenerate collateral analysis and support loan pricingReview lines of credit annually and recommend renewals or modificationsAnalyze client data across multiple systems for credit criteriaReview and prepare loan documentation with high accuracyEnsure documentation complies with federal and local regulationsRecommend process improvements for efficiency and consistencyCollaborate with business partners across teamsSupport error-free environment through strong controlsStrive to develop underwriting expertise and grow into a lender roleAssist with credit authority responsibilities as experience increase. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or relevant credit experience4 years of experience in underwriting, credit risk, or collateral valuationStrong interpersonal skills with business partnersExcellent communication skills across organizational levelsAbility to review and improve processesStrong understanding of controls for error-free operationsIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and SharePoint

Working knowledge of financial markets and asset vehicles (Mutual Funds, Equities, Fixed Income, Municipals)Experience with underwriting, credit risk, and collateral valuationAbility to develop into a lender role with credit authorityExperience supporting asset and wealth management clientsFamiliarity with federal and local lending regulationsProven track record of accuracy in documentationDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, client-focused environment
