Job Title: Commercial Plumber
Job Description
We are seeking skilled commercial plumbers proficient in underground and new construction work, including the installation of fixtures. The successful candidate will work with PVC, cut and thread pipe, and read blueprints/specifications. Candidates must be experienced in both rough-ins and finish/trim-out stages.
Responsibilities
Perform new construction and renovation work in large commercial settings.Work with domestic water and sanitary systems, installing fixtures, hangers, and pipe.Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, or fixtures according to specifications or plumbing codes.Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe using appropriate tools and machines.Study building plans to assess materials, equipment needs, and sequence of pipe installations.Locate and mark pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures using measuring instruments.Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks using pressure gauges.Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various tools and equipment.Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, sinks, and toilets.Direct helpers in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.Install underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems, extending piping as needed.Maintain or repair plumbing by replacing defective washers, mending pipes, or opening clogged drains.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing (3-4 years considered for lower pay rate).Proficiency in construction, mechanical, plumbing, and piping.Ability to read blueprints and specifications.Experience with PVC, CPVC, PEX, and cast iron.Skilled in brazing and soldering.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in new construction and renovation in large commercial projects.Ability to work with domestic water and sanitary systems.Must have basic hand tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on a new construction site. Tasks will include underground work, pool deck installation, and hanger installation, all involving PVC. You must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and alongside other contractors. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
