Job Title: Journeyman PainterJob Description

We are seeking 3-4 experienced journeyman painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of commercial painting experience and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The projects will primarily be located in the immediate Bay Area, with the company based in San Jose.

ResponsibilitiesPaint, stain, and varnish surfaces using brushes and spray equipment.Sand, scrape, and brush surfaces in preparation for painting.Repair surfaces to be painted, including plastering and sheetrock finishing.Mix and match paint colors as needed.Waterproof surfaces to prevent damage.Refinish furniture such as chairs, bookcases, and desks.Set glass and apply putty for a smooth finish.Paint signs and occasionally hang wallpaper.Essential Skills5+ years of commercial painting experience.Proficiency in using spray guns and paint preparation techniques.Experience with sanding and industrial painting.Ability to mix paint colors accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with furniture refinishing and hanging wallpaper.Capability to repair and prepare surfaces for painting.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
