Job Description
The Journeyman Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of production and facility equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems, with a strong emphasis on preventative and predictive maintenance. The ideal candidate will hold a valid journeyman card and bring hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform safe and efficient maintenance of production and facility equipment.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance.Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Collaborate effectively in a unionized team environment.Work independently to solve complex maintenance issues.Essential SkillsPossession of a valid 5-year industrial journeyman’s card (e.g., 50-414-2 Electrical & Instrumentation).2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming.Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Comfort with working independently or in a team.Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding and fabrication experience.Familiarity with web handling equipment and advanced drive systems.Experience with CMMS platforms.Root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes working in a manufacturing setting, with the necessity to operate within a unionized team. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed. The dress code is aligned with safety standards in industrial maintenance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
