Journeyman Electrician
**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician who is proficient in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and installation procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting materials, operating tools safely, and maintaining a clean work area. Additionally, you will protect company and customer property, monitor inventory accuracy, and communicate effectively with customers. Responsibilities + Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, installation, and start-up procedures. + Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs. + Operate tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task. + Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines. + Maintain a clean work area and organize/store tools and materials to minimize damage and risk of injury. + Protect the property of the company and customer by all reasonable means. + Monitor and be accountable for the accuracy of parts inventory. + Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required. + Install, program, and test new equipment. + Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. + Present yourself professionally and be prompt when making service calls. Essential Skills + Experience in construction, repair, service, petroleum, and maintenance. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Knowledge in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. + Ability to provide excellent customer service. + Valid and clean driver's license. + Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening. + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to climb and lift 50 lbs. + Passage of the DOT physical exam. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a similar role or possession of transferrable skills. + General mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge. + Willingness to learn industry terminology and processes. + High level of attention to detail and urgency. + Preferred experience as a petroleum service technician. + Certification in Gilbarco or similar dispenser service. + Military background, electronic experience, or maintenance tech experience is advantageous. We offer flexibility on the type of service truck you prefer. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Uniforms are provided, and you will report to the Service Manager at each site, working in teams of 2-3 per location. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
