**Journeyman Concrete Carpenter**
**Summary:**
Experienced Journeyman Concrete Carpenter with over 5 years in commercial and industrial concrete construction. Skilled in forming and finishing footings, foundations, slab-on-grade, edge forms, walls, columns, and elevated decks. Adept at reading blueprints, operating construction equipment, and ensuring high-quality concrete work in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Construct and pour footings, foundations, and slab-on-grade systems per project specifications.
+ Install and align edge forms, wall forms, columns, and elevated decks.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans.
+ Perform concrete placement and finishing using hand and power tools.
+ Monitor curing conditions and apply appropriate finishing techniques.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant worksite.
+ Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project deadlines.
**Skills & Tools:**
+ Concrete carpentry, formwork systems, layout, blueprint reading
+ Slab-on-grade, podium decks, stairs, edge forms, footings, foundations
+ Rigging (hand and verbal signals), scissor lift, boom lift, forklift, mini excavator, skid steer
**Qualifications:**
+ Journeyman-level field experience with a minimum of 5 years in concrete carpentry
+ Proficient in measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork
+ Experience with podium and commercial construction projects
+ Familiar with industry safety protocols and standards
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
+ Reliable transportation and own hand/power tools
+ Equipment operation and rigging experience a plus
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
