POSITION OVERVIEW\n
Provide A&AS to support the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission. This position will support the Exercise Branch, responsible for planning, synchronizing, executing, and assessing space operations support to USSPACECOM, USNORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM and other COCOM major exercises, experiments, and war games. \n
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nThe Joint Exercise Team will coordinate directly with GCCs, ASCCs, Corps, Division, 1st Space Brigade and the 100th Ground-Based Mission Defense (GMD) to provide required space exercise support.\nProvide expertise in planning Joint Staff Tier I exercises, Army Theater exercise, the 1st Space Brigade and 100th GMD major training events, and additional Joint exercises using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process. \nExecute the exercises outlined above. This includes controlling the planned storylines and injecting the developed MSEL. The contractor shall use the JMSEL tool to inject the planned events. \nUse the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) tool to collect Lessons Learned\/After Action Review (AAR) comments from events that occurred during the exercise. \n\n
Required Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant operational and planning experience in missile defense, space operations, or joint strategic assessments.\nExperience coordinating with Combatant Commands, USASMDC, and other joint stakeholders.\nMust possess strong analytical, technology, and organizational skills\nAccuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are required\nAbility to work independently and meet communicated schedules and deadlines\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nActive Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).\n\n
Preferred Qualifications:\n\nExercise planning in the space and missile defense domains preferred.\n\n
