**Job Title: Jockey Driver - CDL Class A** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and reliable Jockey Driver to safely move company trailers within and between two. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with transportation, garage personnel, pedestrians, and operations teams to ensure smooth nighttime operations. **Responsibilities** + Safely move trailers, including both loads and empties, for the Inbound and Outbound docks. + Perform dropping and hooking of trailers and trucks based on the load grid for the night. + Conduct daily yard checks and provide updates as needed throughout the night. + Accurately report equipment statuses and productivity information to the Transportation, Garage, or Operations Coordinators. + Conduct regular spot checks of yard vehicles and report any damaged or inoperable equipment. + Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed. + Cover backhaul and/or a small nightly route. + Adhere to quality and performance standards. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + A safety-driven mindset. + Strong organizational and prioritization skills. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + High level of professionalism and strong work ethic. + The ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational needs. + Strong customer service skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
