Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 6 am to 2 pm (40 hours)\n

A Day in the Life of a Job Coach in Janitorial Services:\n

As a full time Job Coach you will make a difference every day and support people in developing their work habits in our Janitorial Services Program. \n\nOpportunity to work with people one on one or in a group in a variety of settings\nShare your knowledge and help others develop positive employment habits to include but not limited to punctuality, hygiene and productivity.\nBe a role model and model appropriate work behavior \nTransport participants to and from work sites, and\/or assist in travel training\nSubmit daily documentation including noting any positive or challenging behavior at the worksite\nMay perform job tasks along with individuals to included but not limited to, cleaning, sweeping, moping, vacuuming, removing trash and dusting. \nUse discovery strategies to determine an individual's skill and needs for employment\nHelp people develop and reach their employment goals\n\n

Job Coach Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nOne year of work experience working with individuals with developmental\/intellectual disabilities and\/or in a vocational rehabilitation setting preferred. \nExcellent communication skills\nMust possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency driver standards.\n\n
