Job Title: Job CaptainJob Description We are seeking a skilled Job Captain to produce construction drawings and details for multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial construction projects, primarily focusing on new construction. The role also includes involvement in projects such as warehouses, industrial buildings, groceries, supermarkets, retail spaces, and fast food outlets. You will utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce construction documents and manage small to mid-sized projects independently. You will participate in all phases of architecture from inception through completion, coordinating with consultants, researching codes, and conducting occasional site visits. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. + 5-8 years of professional architectural experience. + Ability to manage small to mid-size projects independently. + Expertise in producing construction drawings. + Strong architectural drafting skills. + Effective communication with internal staff and external parties. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in multi-family residential, commercial, office interiors/fitouts, restaurants, warehouses, etc. + Skills in SketchUp and schematic design. + Capability in design development and construction administration. Work Environment The firm offers the opportunity to work closely with the principal architect, enabling rapid career development and exposure to all architectural phases. The company, established in 2002, consists of six employees and handles diverse commercial building projects, including recent multi-family and warehouse work. You will design and draft smaller to mid-sized projects with a typical cycle of 3-4 weeks for smaller ones. The work schedule is 8:30 - 5:30, with flexibility based on needs and remote work options for the right candidate. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
