Schwab is recruiting to hire a driven, results-oriented Software Integration Specialist who shares our passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. Our main goal at Schwab is to transform people’s lives by changing the way the world invests. This role will be a dynamic, cross-skills position including hands-on object-oriented development, design and implementation of data manufacturing capabilities, and implementation of new workflows and features utilizing test data management software. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic, fast-moving, environment and is passionate about developing multi-faceted solutions to solve complex, time-critical problems.
You will be part of the Test Data Management team and will help design, develop, and support the Test Data Management platform. The candidate will work with a team of engineers whose main objective is to maintain a portion of our enterprise test data provisioning platform and ensure the on-time, quality delivery of software products.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze enterprise application data sources to configure firm wide application test data for high priority firm business commitments. Design and deploy enterprise applications with C#/.NET technologies, as well as Java/JavaScript/JSON modules in K2View software.Work closely with internal and external team members to decompose requirements, design software, and prioritize tasks. Create and execute test plans for standalone and integrated software components.Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing integrations/software.Maintain and troubleshoot execution and server-side issues on CentOS servers.Actively participate in team meetings to ensure team deliverables are met. Provide hands-on development and mentoring as necessary for other members of the development team.Create artifacts for projects such as technical specifications and metrics reports. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans.What you haveRequired Qualifications
BS/BA/MS in Computer Science or equivalent disciplineSolid background in application development – minimum 3-5 years experienceProficient building client/server-side applications utilizing Java or .NET Proficient using various Javascript and JqueryStrong understanding of relational and no-SQL database concepts – minimum 3-5 years experienceProficient in SQL Server and/or OracleProficient in MongoDB, Cassandra, and/or Aerospike Familiar with Unix based server admin (RedHat, CentOS, etc.) – minimum 1-2 years experienceFamiliar with creating REST and SOAP API integrations – minimum 1-2 years experienceUnderstanding large dataset manipulation, movement techniques and challengesAbility to work well under stress, self-prioritize tasks, and deliver on critical deadlinesUnderstanding of Agile software development methodologies, concepts, and proceduresComfortable with tools including Jira, BitBucket/Git, or similarUnderstanding of test data management concepts, including masking/obfuscation, manufacturing, and data miningPreferred Qualifications
