We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Java L1 Production Support

Role Purpose:

Support users to resolve issues they face when operating our Java Microservices Applications and implement the features and fixes they need to function correctly, in such a way that the clients receive a reliable and quality service for the Digital Credit Platform of HSBC. We seek for a professional with strong interest for production support at level 1 for this kind of applications.

Main Activities

This position will start taking user support activities and when high level of familiarity with the systems had been demonstrated developing in Java.

Resolve issues users face when operating the applications.Analyse and investigate about issues.Review logs to find out what the error/issue is.Contact users to better understand an issue.Contact other teams to help on resolving users’ issues.Guide users when the issue can be resolve by themselves.Create change requests for applying fixes to resolve user’s issues.Raise Jira tickets when help from second or third level support is required.Participate in the whole SDLC for delivering new features.Maintain the support for spring MVC, APIs and Java Microservice applications.Implement proper unit testing, integration testing and regression testing for the developed applications.
