Job Description Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Engineer or Senior Software Engineer (C13) to join our dynamic team with, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure applications using cutting-edge Java technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and modern development practices, contributing significantly to our core platforms and services. Experience: + Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Development and leading small or medium sized development teams + Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Key Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, resilient, and scalable applications using Spring Boot, Core Java, Spring. + Develop and consume RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, ensuring seamless integration. + Contribute significantly to the architectural design, implementation, and evolution of microservices-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features. + Implement robust security measures using Spring Security to protect application data . + Design and implement event-driven architecture leveraging Kafka for reliable message streaming and processing. + Perform mandated code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. + Extensive experience in building scalable, distributed, highly available systems. + Extensive experience integrating with workflow engines and SAAS systems. + Proficiency in writing unit tests like JUnit and familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) practices. Required Tech Qualifications: + Extensive experience with Core Java (Java 17+ preferred), demonstrating deep understanding of its ecosystem and modern features. + Solid understanding and extensive hands on experience with Microservices architecture principles and patterns using Springboot. + Hands-on experience implementing security features with Spring Security.
