Sabre is seeking a talented Software Engineer to support the Reservation Management Team.

Reservation Management team is focused on designing, developing and maintaining variety of Order services running on open systems. We are responsible for Order data distribution to internal and external customers, hosting multiple Order management services and building Order data store in modern, scalable, microservice based and Cloud oriented architecture. We employ latest technologies and practices to handle high volume of transactions supporting millions of traveling passengers daily. Our team is global based in Southlake, TX, Krakow and Bengaluru and implements mature Scrum processes.

Due to dynamic growth of the team, we’re now looking for a candidate to join our team and take a role of Software Engineer III.

At Sabre, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing productDesigns, plans, develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technologyWorks on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniquesEncourage high coding standards, using best practices and high qualityRegularly interacts with subordinate supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationshipProvides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teamsProvides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologiesAssist in development of software technical documentation

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of related experienceDegree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent certificationsExperience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment

Technical Expertise:

Advanced programming skills, with deep knowledge of Java ecosystemExperience and expertise in advanced backend programming and solutioningStrong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and computational complexityStrong grasp of cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related servicesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native application development

Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsProficient English, both written and verbalSelf-disciplined and commitment orientedPassion for continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends
