We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Java Developer** with 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in **Spring Boot** and **Microservices architecture** . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and services. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. + Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. + Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. + Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. + Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation. **Required Skills:** + **Core Java** (Java 8 or above) + **Spring Boot** – deep understanding of annotations, configurations, and integrations. + **Microservices Architecture** – experience in designing and deploying microservices. + RESTful APIs and Web Services + Experience with **JPA/Hibernate** , **Maven/Gradle** , and **Git** + Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** and **DevOps tools** (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) + Good understanding of **design patterns** , **data structures** , and **algorithms** + Experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
