We are seeking a proactive and experienced Java Developer to join a high-performing team responsible for the development and support of critical commercial business applications for US Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, gas business knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to deliver robust software solutions that support key operational and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and documentation. Develop and support complex software solutions using Java and related technologies for critical GTM commercial applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on solution design and ensure successful implementation. Conduct issue reviews and implement strategies to prevent recurrence. Identify and drive process improvement initiatives using current and emerging technologies. Ensure solutions meet security, business continuity, and compliance standards. Analyze software performance and establish acceptable performance benchmarks. Work closely with developers and QA analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Basic / Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5–7 years of experience in application development. Proven experience in web application development and N-Tier architecture. Strong proficiency in Java, web services, CSS, XML/XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JUnit, and Oracle SQL. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, Spring framework, data structures, multithreading, and performance tuning. Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards, source control, and unit testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships. Preferred Qualifications Experience with JSON, ORM, C#, IIS, ASP.NET. Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools such as GIT, Azure DevOps, and Ansible. Exposure to IT operations, automation, cloud computing, and monitoring/logging tools. Understanding of the gas pipeline business. Experience developing transmission and storage applications for gas pipelines.
