Job Description An employer is seeking a Java Developer for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL. We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the CashPro payments team, and they will help with development, enhancements, debugging, support, maintenance, and testing software applications that support business units or supporting functions. They are currently migrating from a legacy application to their CashPro Payments application. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. They will participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. They will provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Skills and Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java development • 8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis. • Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML). • Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task coordination. • Experience in Dev Ops, continuous delivery, and continuous integration. • Transaction knowledge, JAXB, JMS, Jdbc, WebLogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core java (streams / files / collections)
